When is payment due?

Once selected, a deposit of $4,125 is due. The remainder is due by February 28, 2025.

Are payment plans available?

What is included?

Hotel lodging, two evening mixers, two dinners, your SXSW pass, cultural immersion tickets, company tours, workshops, and leadership credential.

How do I apply?

Applications will come out October 1, 2024 and are due by February 15th, 2025. Selections will be made by March 1, 2025.

Are scholarships available?

Can University faculty bring a group of students?

Yes! Faculty-led groups are welcome to attend. Faculty must work with their own departments to secure travel funding. However if the faculty member also facilitates, they will receive compensation.

Will students receive credit for attending this trip?

This depends on the structure of the department of your major. Faculty may honor the trip for course credit if it connects to your field of study; or your University advisor may honor credit for fulfilling a global engagement common curriculum tag.

Students will earn a Certified Innovation Leader (CIL) certificate presented by Brand New Day upon successful completion of the trip.

May I attend more than once?

Certainly! Each year our trip is focused on one of the 4 pillars:

1) foster intellectual excellence, 2) promote social awareness that impels to action, 3) build strong communities, and 4) encourage personal and professional growth within an atmosphere of wise freedom.

Participating in multiple trips will provide a wealth of well-rounded experience, continuously pushing you in new directions.

Where will future trips be?

As we grow, we plan to offer a new location each year. We are seeking to expose students and young professionals to the world’s fastest-growing regions where fresh, innovative thinking is needed most.
